Any space can be used to build a house, everything depends on a good design, even the most underrated and little land used with perspective can be very useful. The capacity of the shipping containers and its structural strength makes them very versatile to play with these options, today we show you a house that is built on a mountainside.
As if it were a retaining wall, this house is built virtually holding the lands of this little mountain. By placing the containers vertically as if it was a building, maximizing the available space to the limit, so the earthwork necessary to build here is not so demanding.
The operation requires only a proper foundation able to support the weight of all the containers without problems. Because the field has a little value, we don’t need too much space, and the price of building with containers is very economical, the final price per M2 of this house is very low.
The ground floor houses the parking of the house, while the remaining containers the common areas and rooms. The only real con of this house is that it is full of stairs, unless we install an elevator.
