Today we we want to show you this house of 2.600ft2. It’s ubicated in a horizontal condominium at the Orleans neighborhood of Curitiba, Brazil. Thanks to the speed of this construction and the ecological system the resulting total cost per ft2 is 20% cheaper than the traditional construction methods. Developed by the company Paraná Delta-containers and designed by the Architect Danilo Corbas, the house consists of 6 containers, each one of 430ft2 “High Cube”, the measures of these containers are 40 feet long by 9,5 feet high. They were later modified at the company headquarters in Campo Largo to install them the windows and doors, and finally they were placed by a crane in its final location.
