The Container City of London is a whole block of houses made entirely with shipping containers. The first set of houses was installed at 2001, the Container City 1, it only took 4 days to put all the containers and 6 months to make them habitable. In 2002 a new set of housing, the Container City 2 was installed, and finally in 2005 the Riverside Building was constructed as an office building.
These homes are a very affordable place to live or to use as offices, its creator was Buro Happold and they are a great example to follow because they were one of the pioneers using container architecture.
