In the Linear Park Tagus, in Povoa de Santa Iria, Portugal, an area of ​​15,000m2 (160.000ft2) has been created, gaining a space that was reserved for the industrial sector, and facilitating access to the river and the surrounding nature to the community of this population.

This complex proposes not only an access to nature for the people, but also renews the environment and educates people about the importance of the ecology in this medium. That’s how was born the environmental interpretation center and landscape, a building intended to house temporary exhibitions and events, and built with recycled shippping containers giving landscape views to its occupants.

The building is also composed of an outer skin made of wooden planks, which protects from the sun the containers, and of course their interiors are perfectly insulated, finished with a plasterboard system.
